Forest Roads Community Right-To-Know Act - To establish mandatory procedures to be followed by the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management in advance of the permanent closure of any forest road so as to ensure local public participation in the decisionmaking process. [H.R.1523] 6 . Resources 2000 Act - A bill to provide for the permanent protection of the resources of the United States in the year 2000 and beyond. [H.R.798], [S.446] 7 . Community Protection and Hazardous Fuels Reduction Act of 1999 - A bill to safeguard communities, lives, and property from catastrophic wildfire by authorizing contracts to reduce hazardous fuels buildups on forested Federal lands in wildland/urban interface areas while also using such contracts to undertake forest management projects to protect noncommodity resources, and for other purposes. Huna Totem Corporation Land Exchange Act - A bill to amend the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, to provide for a land exchange between the Secretary of Agriculture and the Huna Totem Corporation, and for other purposes. Kake Tribal Corporation Land Exchange Act - A bill to amend the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, to provide for a land exchange between the Secretary of Agriculture and the Kake Tribal Corporation, and for other purposes. Public Forests Emergency Act of 1999 - To authorize the continued use on public lands of the expedited processes successfully used for windstorm-damaged national forests and grasslands in Texas. 15 . Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 1999 - 16 . To direct the Secretary of Agriculture to convey certain National Forest lands to Elko County, Nevada, for continued use as a cemetery. (Introduced in the House) [H.R.1231] 17 . Hardrock Mining Royalty Act of 1999 - A bill to ensure that Federal taxpayers receive a fair return for the extraction of locatable minerals on public domain lands, and for other purposes. [H.R.394] 18 . To provide for the continuation of oil and gas operations in the Wayne National Forest in the State of Ohio pursuant to certain existing leases. [H.R.213] 19 . [S.416] , To direct the Secretary of Agriculture to convey to the city of Sisters, Oregon, a certain parcel of land for use in connection with a sewage treatment facility.

Mineral Exploration and Development Act of 1999 - A bill to modify the requirements applicable to locatable minerals on public domain lands, consistent with the principles of self-initiation of mining claims, and for other purposes. [H.R.410] 23 . Corporate Responsibility Act of 1999 - A bill to reduce corporate welfare and promote corporate responsibility. [H.R.1470] 24 . Emigrant Wilderness Preservation Act of 1999 - Directs the Secretary of Agriculture, with respect to the Emigrant Wilderness in the Stanislaus National Forest, California, to enter into an agreement with a non-Federal entity to retain, maintain, and operate at private expense 18 concrete dams and weirs. Education Land Grant Act - A bill to amend the Act popularly known as the Recreation and Public Purposes Act to authorize disposal of certain public lands or national forest lands to local education agencies for use for elementary or secondary schools, including public charter schools, and for other purposes. Saint Helena Island National Scenic Area Act - Upon establishment of the Saint Helena Island Scenic Area, the boundaries of the Hiawatha National Forest shall be extended to include all of the lands within the scenic area.
