Patricia has a B.A. degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon with a minor in environmental studies. Prior to working at Forest Magazine she was a free-lance writer, during which time she won an award from the Oregon Society of Professional Journalists for environmental reporting, and worked for ten years in sales at a bicycle manufacturing cooperative.
